Farm Mechanisation Programme is implemented in the State under both State and central fund assistance. All category of farmers are eligible to avail the subsidy. 50% subsidy is provided to general farmers and 90% of subsidy is provided to Scheduled Caste/Tribe farmers limited to maximum of Rs.1.00 lakh. Farm machineries like land preparation equipments, sowing/transplanting equipments, residue management equipments, plant protection equipments, diesel pumpsets, harvesting and processing equipments are provided under the scheme.

Pradhana Mantri Krishi Sinchaaye Yojana- Micro Irrigation is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme in which the cost of the system is borne by Central Government, State Government and farmer. All categories of farmers are eligible to avail assistance for Micro-Irrigation Systems. With a mission to improve and increase the performance the Micro-irrigation(MI) for Agriculture across every Districts in the State, a web based software for subsidy allocation and monitoring is developed by NIC.

"Krishibhagya" scheme aims to achieve sustainable growth in agriculture. The most critical interventions required are to make available more assured water for the sustainable agriculture in the rain fed areas as well as adoption of water use efficiency technology to obtain more crop per drop of water. With this aim, it is being implemented from the year 2014-15. From the year 2017-18 the scheme is extended to all the districts and taluks of the state including coastal and malnad area (excluding the command areas).
